Yale Locks

The most important aspect of any door is its strength and security. Most external doors come fitted with a multi-point locking system, but it is important to realise that the standards and specifications of these can vary enormously.

Hurst Composite Doors are fully fitted with the very latest Yale high security, multi-point locking system, endorsed by the Master Locksmiths Association (MLA). The MLA was established in 1958 to set and promote standards of conduct, practice and materials within locksmithing and is recognised today as the authoritative body for UK locksmithing by the police, Home Office and British Standards Institute.

The Yale locking system utilised within Hurst Composite doors is also accredited by Secured by Design, the police initiative backed by the Home Office and endorsed by all leading insurance companies and hence has been awarded with a ‘Police Preferred Specification’ licence.
