PAS 24 – Enhanced security performance requirement for door assemblies.

Certified accreditation is gained after independent testing against extreme physical attack using various methods that replicate those commonly used by unwanted intruders. Doorsets are subjected to a series of tests including manual intervention, mechanical loading and hard and soft body impact tests.

 

The Hurst Composite Door has been independently tested and achieved full accreditation for the stringent PAS 24 standard including the latest requirement clause 11 that covers severe physical attack on the lock cylinder and door handle.

 

In all test situations, the Hurst Composite Door surpassed the required standards.
